Shout Out For A SureStart!
A new campaign has been
launched to raise the profile of Sure Start Children's Centres and
protect services in the UK.
You will find information
about the campaign and you can even shout out for your local
Children's Centre in the 'My Shout Out' Section at the following
website:
Sign the Pledge
In order to demonstrate the level of support that there is
for Sure Start Children's Centres, they are asking people to
sign up to the Shout Out Pledge. So if you support the
campaign, why not show it by signing the pledge and telling your
friends, family and colleagues.
We want to help you help grandparents….
BeGrand.net is a new website that gives grandparents the
information and help they need to support families &
children.
Be Grand launched on Monday 25th January.
The site is accessible 24
hours a day and grandparents can be as anonymous or vocal as they
like! All information is free. They offer information that's
specific to them: for example if they're kinship carers and need
legal information; or if they just want to talk to other
grandparents and share what they know; if they want to brush up
their knowledge about what's changed since they were parents, or
even learn new skills, like using new technology to stay in touch
long distance. Or if they just want fun, free ways to entertain
their grandchildren, Be Grand can help.

Change4Life has lots of ideas and help to make the many
small changes that add up to a happier, healthier future for you or
your family.
If you join, you will receive lots of helpful
information, recipes, tools, tips, and games for the kids. Register
to receive a free welcome pack - one for the whole family, or one
